Electrolosyis

Electrolysis is a way of removing individual hairs from the face or body.  At The Laser Lounge Spa we make this technology available to our clients with unwanted white or blonde hairs that cannot be removed by any type of laser system due to their lack in color (pigmentation).  Today's medical electrolysis devices destroy the growth center of the hair with chemical or heat energy. A very fine probe is inserted into the hair follicle at the surface of the skin. The hair is then removed with tweezers.

How Many Electrolysis Treatments Will I Need?

Since many factors influence hair growth, you will need to return for several electrolysis visits. The total number of sessions needed to remove hair permanently from a particular area will vary from person to person. Most clients return once a week or every other week, as necessary. But the unwanted hair will be gone forever once the series of treatments have been completed.

Each treatment lasts between 15 minutes and one hour.

Photorejuvenation

Photorejuvenation laser skin treatments are a breakthrough in age-defying skin care. This technique uses laser technology and treats a variety of skin conditions including skin discoloration, broken capillaries, age spots, sun-induced freckles, rosacea (redness and flushing), birthmarks, acne scarring, enlarged pores, and other skin conditions. The result is a more youthful, smooth and revitalized appearance. This treatment is primarily done on the face but it can also be used to treat the tell-tale signs of aging on your hands, neck and chest.

SmoothShapes®

The SmoothShapes® system uses a proprietary technology called Photomology® to combat the problem of cellulite. A pain free procedure, SmoothShapes® uses a dynamic laser and light energy to liquefy fat in the enlarged cells and repair brittle collagen. Collagen is regenerated, circulation improved and metabolic processes are restored. The contoured rollers and vacuum massage assist in moving the liquefied fat out through the lymphatic system and smooth the appearance of the skin removing that unsightly dimpled appearance to the skin.  The Laser Lounge Spa is the only provider of this technology in Southwest Florida.

Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is a medical procedure used to treat unsightly spider veins and varicose veins. The target veins are injected with a chemical solution which causes the interior of the vessel to swell, become irritated, close off, and eventually disappear. Sclerotherapy is also useful for treating deeper veins that are further away from the surface of the skin.  Sometimes a more invasive laser procedure is required, but this will be reviewed at your consultation.  What should you be looking for in a provider of sclerotherapy?  A steady hand and a sharp eye.  

With as few as 1-2 treatments nearly 80% of spider veins can be irradicated.  Treatments last anywhere from one half to one hour depending on how many vessels need to be treated.
